Homeopathy is a form of treatment that originated in 1796 in Germany, but is practiced in virtually every country around the world. It may be employed in the management of virtually any illness (acute or chronic), whether as a primary or supportive treatment. Homeopathic remedies work by stimulating the body’s self-regulatory and recovery mechanisms. The appeal of homeopathic treatment is that it is gentle and safe enough to use even in infancy and pregnancy, while still being effective.
